"Went to Greenville, Mississippi this weekend to practice for the June 4th USCAT tournament that will be held there. My fishing partner is the local Greenville, Ms CATFISH Guru and Mile-a-more expert "COACH". Saturday morning, May 29th we made 25+ mile run run up the Mississippi River to start our search for some "Largemouth Catfish". After the 20 minute boat ride I headed the boat into an area with some underwater dikes, cut banks and eddy currents to begin our day of fishing. . . .

Worlds Worse Kat Fisherman
Well, I am laying claim to the title. I have spent the last four weekends trying everything and have exactly one 6" channel cat to show for it. I have tried several different baits, liver, bluegills, cut bait, stink bait, crawlers and shad sides. Last night I went to 12 mile Lake in Adams County. The Iowa DNR is lowering the lake preparing to kill it off. This is concentrating the fish somewhat. I fished for several hours and had not one single bite. I spent the evening learning some . . .

Mon River Flatheads
Mike and myself decided to give the Mon river a try last night around Morgantown. We headed out early and caught enough bluegills to last the night and decided to give some channel cat fishing a try while we waited for it to get later. I managed to catch 2 channel cats and lost several others in the 30 minutes we were there. We eventually walked down stream and got set up without any hits runs or nibbles for a couple hours. We started picking up some channel cats around 10am but nothing . . .

Woo! Woo! I caught me a CATFISH!!
This past Weekend I took my 5yr old boy fishing and after many trips and trying to give him a night that he could enjoy. I hooked this 10.5lb. Catfish. I must say with out all of you and all the fishing advice I???ve read and gotten from the Katmaster???s boards I couldn???t have done it. Thanks Gentlemen! Now that???s all my son wants to do is go fishing. Woo! Woo!

35lbs Flathead Catfish
ok i finally did it i broke the 20 mark.....well i broke the 30 mark as well. went to my spot...wasn't there 30 minutes after i got all the rods in the water and had 8 blue gill for the arsenal......my buddy came with me well put it this way he's hooked now...i was explaining to him the differences in between channels and flats....and about the runs, then i had one...i got a lil anxious but it paid off anyway...... fought for about 10 minutes then landed it...woo hoo man it was beautiful. . .

Well i went bow hunting this morning and was able to take a nice doe i decided to fish this evenin and here is the story! the wife and i where going to go fishin this evening for flathead but she still wasn't feeling very well so i figured i would go ahead and go by myself for a quick channel cat trip to a local lake. I got out their at about 3pm and had to catch some bait all i was able to catch where 4 good size gills and a bass, so i took what little bait i had and went to this spot I . . .

I went fishing with some friends at Tunica, Ms on the Mississippi River over the weekend. My Friend Coach Steve Adams From Greenville,Ms has spent most his life fishing this river so I valued his opinions and experience a whole lot, we fished Sat,Sun without much action a couple small eater size blues. On Monday we hit it again checking the normal places on the river Points and Dikes and the Holes that they produce, we pulled up to one Dike and it had a very good current coming off of it . . .
